QA Manual Tester
We’re looking for a QA Manual Tester to join KWAN on a high-impact project within a global financial environment.
You’ll be working with complex systems used in fixed-income trading. This is not a basic dev role, it’s about understanding how systems, data, and business actually connect.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and manage the end-to-end defect management process across the product lifecycle.
- Log, track, prioritize, and follow up on defects, ensuring timely resolution and proper closure.
- Analyze defects to identify patterns, recurring issues, and potential risks to product quality.
- Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to ensure clear understanding and resolution of issues.
- Participate in test execution activities, validating fixes and performing regression testing when required.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of defects, test cases, and incidents.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, particularly in defect handling and reporting.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, with strong focus on defect management.
- Solid hands-on experience with Jira and Xray.
- Experience with incident management and operational support processes in production environments.
- Ability to effectively track, manage, and coordinate defect resolution across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical skills to assess impact, severity, and business risk of defects.
- Familiarity with structured testing methodologies and QA best practices.
