What is this challenge about:
- We are looking for a Developer for the Gas Flow Management (GFM) product to join a cross-functional agile team responsible for building and evolving digital solutions that support the commercial and operational ecosystem.
- You will contribute to software that spans the full gas flow lifecycle, including customer onboarding, contracting, demand processing, flow planning, network balancing, billing, invoicing, reporting, and data exchange across European energy operators.
- This is a long-term product-focused environment where engineering quality, scalability, and business alignment are key.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software components within the GFM ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate operational challenges into effective digital solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements in performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement and maintain automated tests and participate in testing activities.
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold coding standards across the team.
- Support release preparation, including technical documentation and deployment activities.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and demo sessions, ensuring clear documentation for end users.
- Provide support for functional and technical service requests from business stakeholders.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
What we are looking for:
- +3 years of experience with backend development using .NET (preferably .NET 8 / .NET Framework).
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API and WCF.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework and NHibernate.
- Understanding of software architecture principles, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with testing frameworks (xUnit or NUnit).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Experience working with complex, large-scale systems and long-lived codebases.
- Product-focused mindset, prioritizing business and user value.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-function
- Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Living in Lisbon (hybrid role, 2x week in the office)
- Fluent level of English.
- Knowledge of French ou Dutch is a strong plus.
- Possibility of internalisation within the cliente after 6 months on the role
