Software development company building mobile applications. The project involves quality assurance for a digital solution that handles sensitive data, including health-related information, requiring strong attention to security, accessibility and data protection standards.

What you will do

Prepare test plans, test cases and traceability matrices against requirements.
Execute automated interface testing using tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
Conduct user testing of fully developed user stories, including planning, execution and recording of results.
Log and follow up defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Implement integration tests that mock or stub external authentication services to ensure independent execution.
Apply security-by-design principles and validate against standards such as OWASP Top 10 / CWE, with particular care for sensitive and health-related data.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve defined quality objectives.

Automated interface testing (Playwright, Cypress or equivalent)
Experience with quality gates and coverage thresholds on new code (e.g. SonarCloud or equivalent)
Experience with user testing of fully developed user stories, including planning, execution and recording of results
Experience with recognised testing libraries (e.g. xUnit, jUnit) — no home-built frameworks
Experience implementing security-by-design practices aligned with OWASP Top 10 / CWE, including handling of sensitive data such as health data
Experience in information security and data protection practices
English B2
Portuguese

Nice to have

Postgraduate education or specialisation in computer science, software engineering or information technology
Experience preparing test plans, test cases and requirement traceability
Experience collaborating in cross-disciplinary teams with multiple stakeholders
Experience with integration testing involving mocked/stubbed authentication services
Experience with defect logging and lifecycle follow-up
Experience with WCAG 2.2 A/AA, WAI-ARIA and screen reader testing
