Target start date: As soon as possible
Working Conditions: Hybrid model: minimum of 8 days in the office per month and 1 mandatory office day per week.
Location: Porto (preferred) or Lisbon, Portugal
Note: If the selected candidate is based in Porto, it would be highly beneficial and required for them to travel to Lisbon a few times.
Mission Duration: Long-term project
Context: Natixis in Portugal, based in Porto and Lisbon, is fully integrated into the global organization of Natixis, offering a unique combination of a “start-up mindset” within a large, solid structure. The team works in extension between Porto/Lisbon and Paris, and is responsible for ensuring the operational stability, maintenance, and support of several applications and test environments within a dynamic, multi-location ecosystem.
The main goal of this position is to ensure that test environments run smoothly and efficiently in the banking and Trade Finance sector. The role involves maintaining operational status by managing batch processes, handling messages in queues, and coordinating with Business Analysts and developers.
By leveraging skills in incident management, SQL, and CI-CD practices under Agile methodologies, the consultant will also participate in resolving technical incidents in production, aiming for quick fixes to minimize disruptions to operations and support a reliable testing and production environment that meets business needs.

Position: Technical Support Engineer (Application Support)
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting test environments to maintain operational status, including unblocking batches, managing messages in queues, coordinating actions with Business Analysts or developers, and executing SQL scripts.
- Participating in technical incident management in production, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize impact on operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Level: SENIOR level (6 years of experience +).
- English proficiency: C1 (or B2+).
- Basic knowledge of Java technology, particularly back-end.
- Good experience in CI-CD and DevSecOps: (Jenkins, XLD, XLR).
- Solid knowledge of databases: (Oracle, SQL views & scripts).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- SQL experience.
- Experience in incident management.
- Knowledge in ServiceNow or Jira tools.
Other Requirements (Plus):
- Knowledge of ControlM is a plus.
- Knowledge of CFT and MQ Series is a plus.
- Knowledge of FBTI is a plus.
- Experience with XL Deploy is a plus.
- Functional appetite in the banking and Trade Finance sector.
