About the role

Regulatory compliance technology company providing an AI-powered platform to global enterprises. The team builds and evolves modern, cloud-based applications for a global customer base, focusing on scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence as the product grows toward SaaS maturity.

What you will do

  • Write clean, maintainable code that sets the standard for other engineers on the team.
  • Deliver high-quality, working software regularly as part of a development team.
  • Provide insightful, thorough code reviews with attention to architectural impact.
  • Ensure documentation exists for critical systems and author technical guides for other engineers.
  • Help define reliability standards so teams can monitor applications and respond to incidents effectively.
  • Diagnose root causes of complex bugs and deliver fixes with automated regression tests.
  • Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers, sharing knowledge through demos and presentations.

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)

What are we looking for?

  • .NET Core — 10+ years
  • C# — 10+ years
  • Microservices architecture — expert level
  • Event-driven architecture / messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) — 2+ years
  • NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, or similar)
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Agile environment experience
  • Technical leadership and mentoring experience — 3+ years
  • English B2

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kafka specifically
  • Experience with Elasticsearch specifically
  • Site Reliability Engineering practices
  • Experience with additional messaging/streaming tools (e.g. Pulsar)
