Developer – Gas Flow Management (GFM)
About Fluxys
Fluxys is an independent energy infrastructure group headquartered in Belgium, with
operations across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. We specialize in gas
transmission, storage, and LNG terminalling, managing over 28,000 km of pipeline
infrastructure and terminals capable of regasifying 485 TWh annually.
As a key player in the energy transition, Fluxys is committed to enabling the shift toward
carbon neutrality—transporting natural gas today while preparing infrastructure for
hydrogen, biomethane, CO₂, and other low-carbon energy carriers of tomorrow.
About the role
As a Developer for a Gas Flow Management (GFM) product, you will be part of a cross-
functional, agile team responsible for the design, development, and continuous
enhancement of digital solutions supporting Fluxys' commercial operations.
The applications you help build and maintain span the entire gas flow management
lifecycle—covering customer onboarding, contracting, demand processing, flow planning,
network balancing, billing, invoicing, data publication, reporting, and business-to-business
messaging. These tools support our core infrastructure activities—transmission, storage,
and terminalling—and serve multiple European Transmission System Operators (TSOs), both
within and outside the Fluxys Group.
You will help deliver end-to-end software solutions that are robust, scalable, and tightly
aligned with user needs and business goals. You’ll be empowered to shape features,
improve system architecture, and contribute meaningfully to a long-lived product that
evolves with the energy sector’s rapid transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software components within the
Fluxys product ecosystem
Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and business
stakeholders to translate real-world challenges into digital solutions
Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements that enhance
performance, reliability, and maintainability
Implement and maintain tests and participate in testing activities
Review code, mentor peers, and uphold coding standards within the teams
Contribute to release preparation, including technical documentation and
deployment activities
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), actively participate in demo sessions, and
ensure clear, reliable documentation to help users adopt the product
Handle functional and technical service requests from business stakeholders,
providing timely and effective support
Collaborate with the product team to investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring
minimal impact on operations
Participate in monitoring and troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and
production environments
Actively engage in Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews,
retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Help create technical items on the product backlog, phrase them in a value-oriented
manner understandable by business stakeholders, and support the product owner to
prioritize these according to value delivered

Strong profiles don’t always match timing. That doesn’t mean there isn’t alignment.
We review every application. If there’s alignment, we won’t let it get lost in a database.
