Developer – Gas Flow Management (GFM)

About the client and the project

Energy infrastructure company operating gas transmission networks in Europe. You will join a cross-functional, agile team building and evolving digital solutions that support gas flow management, covering the full lifecycle from customer onboarding and contracting to demand processing, flow planning, network balancing, billing, invoicing, data publication, reporting, and business-to-business messaging. These tools support core infrastructure activities and serve multiple European Transmission System Operators.

What you will do

  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software components within the product ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and business stakeholders to translate real-world challenges into digital solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements to performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain automated tests and participate in testing activities.
  • Review code, mentor peers, and uphold coding standards within the team.
  • Support release preparation, technical documentation, and deployment activities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
