About the role
Regulatory compliance technology company providing an AI-powered platform to global enterprises. You will join a team of engineers building modern, high-quality applications for a global customer base, contributing to architectural decisions and helping drive the platform towards SaaS excellence.
What you will do
- Write clean, maintainable code using .NET and C# alongside modern tools such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Deliver high-quality, working software as part of a collaborative development team.
- Build deep, expert understanding of the team's codebase.
- Provide insightful code reviews with attention to broader architectural concepts.
- Ensure documentation exists for critical systems and write technical guides for other engineers.
- Monitor dashboards and alerts, responding to incidents with appropriate urgency.
- Drive technical decision-making, identifying trade-offs and risks with an eye on organization-wide alignment.

- Hybrid (1 day/week in the office, Lisboa)
What are we looking for?
- .NET Core — 6+ years
- C# — 6+ years
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Experience with event-driven architectures and event streaming/messaging tools (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Dynamo)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers
- English B2
Nice to have
- Kubernetes
- Understanding of Feature Flags for faster releases
- CI/CD experience
- Experience with testcontainers
- Strong communication skills
- Experience quickly learning complex architectures and codebases
