About the role

Technology company building automation and machine learning platforms. The team works on complex enterprise applications that are business-critical and highly available, combining test automation with performance engineering and non-functional testing across application, API, database, middleware and infrastructure layers.

What you will do

Define, maintain and execute performance-testing strategies, including baselines and success criteria.
Design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Python and Playwright.
Build reusable frameworks, libraries and utilities for functional and non-functional testing.
Design and execute load, stress, soak/endurance, scalability, volume and capacity tests.
Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks across application, API, database, middleware and infrastructure layers.
Integrate automated and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to release-readiness assessments.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, architects and QA teams, and mentor colleagues on automation and performance practices.

Python — expert level
Playwright — expert level
Load/stress/endurance/scalability/capacity testing methodologies
JMeter, Locust, Gatling or LoadRunner (at least one)
Jenkins CI/CD integration
Git-based workflows
Docker and containerised environments
REST APIs, distributed systems and microservices architectures
English B2

Nice to have

Kubernetes
Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic Stack, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar monitoring tools
Jira, Confluence and test-management tools
Agile/Scrum experience
Site Reliability Engineering practices
Experience in aviation, air traffic management or another mission-critical environment
