About the role

Technology platform company serving the consulting and freelance services sector. The role sits within a framework and research team that builds cross-functional services and foundational components used across multiple business lines. The team bridges robust backend architecture with applied AI, designing and deploying machine learning models to enhance core platforms.

What you will do

Design, build, and maintain efficient C#/.NET code alongside production-ready ML pipelines.
Translate business requirements into functional applications and AI/ML solutions, focusing on NLP and LLMs.
Fine-tune, deploy, and optimize pre-trained models for specific product use cases.
Create proofs of concept for R&D projects and analyze complex datasets to derive insights.
Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines.
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure the quality of software and AI deliverables.
Maintain documentation for software architecture and AI algorithms, and flag technical debt.

Location and work model

Hybrid (3 days/week in the office, Porto / Braga)
