Mid/Senior Analytics Engineer
About the client and the project
Global professional services company with a technology delivery hub in Portugal. The team designs, implements, and optimizes advanced analytical solutions, building reliable data models and pipelines that support BI, Data Science, and ML initiatives across the organization.
What you will do
- Model and transform data into consistent analytical structures.
- Build and optimize ELT pipelines and quality tests.
- Ensure clear documentation of business rules, lineage, and transformation logic.
- Monitor datasets, quality, SLAs, and performance.
- Support DS/BI/ML teams with reliable data and semantic layers.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, MLE, and Product Owner teams for integrated deliveries.

- Advanced data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling, medallion architecture)
- SQL — query tuning and performance engineering
- PySpark / Spark SQL
- CI/CD and version control for data pipelines
