Key Responsibilities:

- Design & Architect: Design and document complex integration architectures, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and align with enterprise standards.
- Platform Leadership: Lead the design and evolution of core Integration and Data platforms, serving as the technical authority for these foundational systems.
- Modernization: Architect and oversee projects to redesign and replace legacy integrations, transitioning them to modern, event-driven, or API-based solutions.
- Microservices Governance: Lead the design and development of integration microservices, defining architectural patterns and best practices for their creation and management.
- Strategic Vision: Define the overall Enterprise Architecture Strategy and ensure its consistent application through architectural governance.
- Technical Guidance: Act as a technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for integration technologies, providing guidance to development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Innovation & Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, propose innovative solutions, and ensure all designs comply with security, regulatory, and business continuity standards.
Experience:

- Proven experience as an Integration Architect
- Hands-on experience working with or supporting teams building Java Spring Boot microservices or similar.
- Experience in using Kafka in an integration landscape.
- Proficient in Cloud Computing platforms (AWS or Azure) and implementing architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Experience in redesigning legacy replacement integrations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerisation technologies.
