About the role

Global professional services company with a technology delivery hub in Portugal. The team is building cloud-native data pipelines and architectures to support scalable analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role also offers a long-term growth path towards Data Product Management.

What you will do

Design and implement end-to-end data architecture, including ingestion, modeling, storage, and orchestration.
Build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using Microsoft data engineering tools.
Develop and optimize data warehousing and data lake solutions for performance, cost, and reliability.
Implement data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring at scale.
Apply DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to data engineering workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate technical decisions into clear, actionable insights.
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, enforcing best practices and fostering a strong technical culture.
