International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The role sits within a team supporting Front Office and Middle Office trading systems, working on integration between internal and external systems for capital markets activities. The team operates internationally, with close daily collaboration across European offices.

What you will do

Gather, understand and translate Front Office user needs into detailed functional specifications.
Collaborate with development teams to translate functional needs into technical specifications.
Develop and execute test cases, focusing on functional testing and impact on PV and Risk.
Support the creation of automated non-regression tests together with developers and release managers.
Conduct user acceptance testing and qualification (integration and regression) testing.
Participate in workload estimation for development and testing activities.
Coordinate production deployment steps and contribute to 3rd level support, including incident analysis and troubleshooting.

Location and work model

Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)

Knowledge of Front Office and Middle Office workflows (P&L, OTC trades/credits IR: swaps, CDS, bonds, repo, MM, some FX, some regulatory)
Financial products knowledge: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, cash, FX, and options
Experience testing and mapping business processes and protocols (Booking, Valuation, Platform, Reporting projects)
SQL
English B2

Knowledge of a Front Office trading platform
French B2
Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
