International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The team develops a self-service platform that automates the request, validation, approval, and provisioning of firewall rules across enterprise network security infrastructure.

What you will do

Design and build end-to-end Python/Django workflows to automate firewall rule request, validation, approval, and provisioning.
Develop and maintain API connectors to orchestrate changes across firewall management and network virtualization platforms.
Implement pre-change validation logic, including syntax checks and conflict detection, to prevent disruptions.
Build safe rollback mechanisms to ensure idempotent, zero-disruption changes to production traffic.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure automation code quality and compliance with internal security policies.
Document code, API contracts, and workflow designs to support handoff to network security operations teams.

Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Porto)
