About the role
Retail banking group in Portugal with a growing focus on digital and technology-driven services. You will join an internal Artificial Intelligence team responsible for designing and delivering Generative AI solutions that address real business challenges, combining technical depth with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
What you will do
- Collaborate with business areas to understand needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and develop agents, copilots and other solutions based on generative models.
- Implement and integrate the technology components, systems, data and services needed for robust, secure and scalable solutions.
- Define and implement monitoring, observability and evaluation mechanisms for AI solutions.
- Contribute to defining success metrics and to the continuous evolution of deployed solutions.
Location and work model
- Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
What are we looking for?
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions and conversational agent development
- Solid theoretical foundation in AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG and embeddings
- Knowledge of the end-to-end development pipeline for agent-based solutions, including architecture, development, integration, deployment, monitoring, observability and DevOps/MLOps practices
- Experience integrating systems, APIs and cloud services
- Strong communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- English B2
- Portuguese
Nice to have
- Experience in the banking or financial sector
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent technologies
- Experience with RAG architectures and integrating models with corporate knowledge sources
- Experience in observability, monitoring and evaluation of AI solutions
- Experience operationalizing and deploying AI solutions in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of architectures for Generative AI applications, including data persistence, knowledge bases, semantic search and indexing
