SAP SD Functional Consultant – Porto | Portugal
Implement and support S/4HANA Public Cloud Order to Cash using fit-to-standard and
clean-core principles.
Responsibilities
• Ensure end-to-end Quote→Order→Delivery→Invoice integrity with CPQ
integrations aligned to clean-core.
• Guard revenue recognition alignment (SD→FI/CO) and prevent pricing/terms
deviations from approved models.
• Govern sales master data quality (Customer, Condition Records, Product/Variant
data) and output consistency.
• Orchestrate quarterly release assessments for SD/CPQ/Subscription scope and
advise business on changes.
• Own CPQ functional design (config models, rules, approvals, price logic) and
mapping to S/4HANA SD.
• Define Subscription Billing touchpoints (order capture, entitlement, usage,
billing) and related test cases.
• Lead pricing diagnostics (condition records, scale tables, access sequences) and
ATP checks.
• Coordinate with CPI/BTP on API payloads, error semantics, and
throughput/performance targets.
• Enable sales & finance teams with UAT playbooks, pricing scenarios, and dispute
handling flows.
• Configure SD scope with CPQ/Subscription integrations and data mapping
documents.
• Produce pricing design dossier (condition schemas, formulae,
surcharges/discounts).
• Maintain CPQ workflow & rules catalogue with versioning/governance notes.
• Define commercial analytics (pipeline, margin waterfall, backlog).
• Prepare cutover & hypercare plan for open quotes/orders and billing schedule
continuity.
Years of experience
- 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.
Functional Skills
• Margin waterfall analysis (list→net→pocket margin), promo effectiveness, and
discount governance.
• Pipeline health (aging, stage velocity), backlog and fulfilment KPIs.
• Understanding of IFRS-aligned revenue flows and credit risk controls.
• Advanced workshop skills to balance commercial requirements with cloud
constraints.
Technical Skills
• Deep exposure to SAP CPQ (config models, rules engine, guided selling,
approvals).
• Subscription Billing/BRIM concepts and S/4HANA integration; Output
Management for SD.
• CBC knowledge for SD scope items; hands-on REST/OData/SOAP with CPI.
• Familiarity with Event Mesh patterns for order/billing events (where available).
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences).
• Stakeholder management capability.
• Structured and detail-oriented working style.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Collaborative mindset.
Languages
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
Desired Certifications
