SAP Cloud Developer (ABAP) – Porto | Portugal

About the client and the project

Global IT consulting and technology services company with a delivery hub in Porto, Portugal. The project focuses on implementing and supporting an S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, following clean-core and Fit-to-Standard principles with scalable, cloud-native architecture.

What you will do

Deliver clean-core extensions via RAP (in-app) and CAP (side-by-side) with secure APIs.
Ensure integration reliability through CPI iFlows and observability via logs, alerts, and dashboards.
Uphold secure coding standards, secrets management, and least-privilege access practices.
Design and implement RAP services, CAP microservices, and CPI iFlows using Groovy and XSLT.
Build UI5/Fiori extensions and optimize client-side JavaScript for usability and performance.
Set up automated tests, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and participate in code reviews.
Implement performance tuning through CDS annotations, buffering, pagination, and parallelization.
