Salesforce Solution Architect – Porto | Portugal
Responsibilities
- Define the overall SFCC B2B architecture, including storefront, integrations, data
flows, and security model.
- Translate business and B2B commerce requirements into scalable SFCC technical
designs.
- Lead solution design for complex B2B features such as account hierarchies, price
books, contract pricing, approval workflows, and custom catalogs.
- Design and oversee integration architecture with ERP (SAP), CRM, PIMS, CDB,
DAM and more.
- Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and governance models for SFCC
projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SFCC developers and offshore/onshore
teams.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, performance optimization, and security
guidelines.
- Support cutover, go‐live, and post‐launch stabilization, including performance tuning
and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects.

- 10 years of professional experience.
Functional Skills
- Deep understanding of B2B digital commerce processes (quoting, contract
pricing, bulk ordering, reordering, customer-specific catalogs).
- Experience transforming legacy eCommerce platforms to Salesforce Commerce
Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end order lifecycles, from storefront to fulfillment
and invoicing.
- Familiarity with automotive industry business models (dealer networks, tiered
pricing, spare parts, long product lifecycles) is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in global, multi-brand, multi-country commerce
environments.
Technical Skills
- Senior expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B Commerce / SFRA)
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge:
o Salesforce B2B Commerce.
o Salesforce Sales Cloud (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities).
o Salesforce APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Deep understanding of:
o OCAPI, SCAPI.
o Integration patterns (event-driven, API-led, middleware).
o Authentication and security (OAuth, SSO, roles, permissions).
- Experience with:
o JavaScript, ISML, APIs.
o Performance optimization and caching strategies.
o CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
o Architecture documentation skills (solution diagrams, integration
blueprints).
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences).
- Ability to make architectural decisions under constraints.
