Salesforce B2B Commerce Developer – Porto | Portugal

Responsibilities
- Develop and customize native Salesforce B2B Commerce storefront functionality
using Lightning Web Components (LWC), the LWR (Lightning Web Runtime)
framework, and Salesforce best practices.
- Implement custom backend business logic for complex B2B features such as
contract-based pricing, dynamic catalog routing, multi-tier account roles, and
approval workflows.
- Develop and maintain integration touchpoints by consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
orchestrated by MuleSoft to connect Salesforce with ERP (e.g., SAP), PIM, IDP,
payment, and logistics systems, utilizing Apex callouts and Commerce Extension
points.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and storefront performance
optimization (including platform cache management and LWC rendering
optimization).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across scratch orgs, sandboxes,
and production environments.
- Collaborate closely with the B2B Commerce Architect, functional consultants, and
QA teams to ensure architectural alignment.
- Support deployment, go-live, and post-production hypercare support activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and team
knowledge sharing.

Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce processes, corporate buyer user
journeys, and procurement workflows.
- Experience implementing customer-specific contract pricing tiers, restricted
catalogs, and account-based purchasing boundaries.
- Solid understanding of B2B order management, inventory allocation, fulfillment,
and corporate invoicing flows.
- Exposure to automotive, industrial supply, or manufacturing eCommerce use
cases is a distinct advantage.
- Experience working in agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban).
Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on experience with native Salesforce B2B Commerce (formerly B2B
Commerce LE / Lightning Experience).
Proficiency in:
- Apex (Asynchronous processing, Batchable/Queueable, REST Callouts, Integration
Service Interfaces).

- Lightning Web Components (LWC), HTML5, semantic CSS, and SLDS styling
hooks/CSS variables specific to LWR.
- Connect REST APIs and the Commerce GraphQL Wire Service
- JavaScript (Modern ES6+) for client-side component execution
- Writing rigorous automated tests, including Apex Test Classes (with
HttpCalloutMock ) and Jest framework for LWC
Experience with:
- Implementing Commerce Extension Points (Cart pricing, tax calculation, inventory
checks, and shipping integrations).
- Native platform data structures and sharing models (External Account
Hierarchies, Account Relationship Sharing Rules)
- Handling complex data migrations using Salesforce Data Loader, external IDs, and
Apex scripting.
- Balancing programmatic logic (Apex) with declarative automation (Salesforce
Flow).
Familiarity with:
- Version control systems (Git) and branch management patterns.
- Salesforce CLI and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Platform performance tuning, Platform Cache diagnostics, and browser debugging
tools.
- Salesforce integration security concepts, including configuring Named
Credentials, Connected Apps, and Auth. Providers.
- Secure coding practices, Lightning Web Security (LWS) enforcement, and
Salesforce compliance standards.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving, structural debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, bulkified code under
Salesforce governor limit constraints.
- Good communication and collaboration skills within distributed, cross-functional
development teams.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving native Salesforce
Commerce capabilities.
- Proactive, accountable, and quality-driven engineering mindset.
