About the role

International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The role sits within an IT delivery organisation responsible for securing and coordinating an application's deployment pipeline, ensuring stable and reliable production releases.

What you will do

Oversee release planning and ensure strict adherence to established release protocols using Jira.
Manage Git branch merges and package compilation, ensuring zero-conflict deployments.
Schedule, coordinate, and lead recurring release alignment meetings.
Compile final delivery manifests and document the operational steps required for production deployment.
Make authoritative, risk-based decisions on urgent delivery scenarios, including postponing or aborting releases when stability is compromised.
Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams regarding release status and specifications.

Location and work model

Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
