Solid experience in integration testing for microservices and distributed systems
REST API testing experience (C#/.NET with xUnit/NUnit/MSTest, HttpClient, RestSharp, and/or Postman + Newman)
BDD experience with Karate DSL, Cucumber/SpecFlow and Gherkin
At least one of: Java + Selenium WebDriver, Playwright + TypeScript, or Appium
Working knowledge of MongoDB and Kafka
Jenkins CI/CD pipeline experience (Declarative/Scripted)
Docker and Kubernetes foundational knowledge

Consumer-provider contract testing (Pact)
Testcontainers (.NET or Java)
Observability tools: ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana
Cypress for E2E

🎯 Tasks

Design and implement integration tests across microservices, MongoDB and Kafka
Build and maintain REST API test suites (functional, negative, boundary, error-handling)
Apply BDD using Karate, Cucumber and Gherkin for API and integration testing
Implement consumer-provider contract tests with Pact
Develop and maintain UI automation for the Angular application (Java + Selenium, Playwright + TypeScript, or Appium for mobile/hybrid)
Integrate all test suites into Jenkins CI/CD
Design and manage test data strategies for MongoDB and Kafka
Collaborate with DevOps to run tests in Kubernetes and Docker environments
Promote BDD adoption and quality best practices across teams

Familiarity with testing pyramid and automation design patterns (POM, Screenplay)
Excellent cross-team communication
Proactive about improving process, tooling and test strategy
