Mid/Senior QA Automation Engineer (CI/CD)

About the client and the project

Payments and financial technology company operating across Portugal. You will join a QA team responsible for ensuring the quality of APIs, microservices and web applications through automated testing embedded in CI/CD pipelines.

What you will do

Develop automated tests for APIs, microservices and web applications.
Implement regression, integration and end-to-end tests.
Create and maintain automation scripts.
Execute tests within CI/CD pipelines.
Manage test evidence and results in JIRA/Xray.
Participate in defining acceptance criteria and shift-left testing practices.
Support defect analysis and validation of fixes.

Must-have skills

Test Automation — 1-3 years
Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
API Testing (Postman, Newman, RestAssured or PyTest)
Git
Docker
SQL
JIRA and Xray
CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
English B1
Portuguese

Nice to have

Kubernetes (basic/intermediate)
Experience with microservices architectures
Experience in Agile/DevOps environments
ISTQB Foundation certification
ISTQB Agile Tester certification
Cloud certification (AWS, Azure or GCP)

Location and work model

Hybrid (3 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
