About the client and the project

Regulatory compliance technology company providing an AI-powered platform to global enterprises. The role sits within a newly launched, high-visibility product area within a growing software portfolio, with strong momentum and room to shape its direction.

What you will do

  • Work with the engineering team to clarify acceptance criteria and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to align on features, functionality, and delivery timelines.
  • Create user stories and acceptance tests that clearly articulate requirements for each feature or change.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define and validate product mockups.
  • Prioritize the product backlog strategically based on business value and delivery effort.
  • Review prototypes and proofs of concept for feasibility before development progresses.
  • Coordinate with engineering managers, tech leads, and developers to ensure shared understanding of requirements.

Must-have skills

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Product Owner experience — 2-4 years
  • Jira
  • Technical depth in cloud architecture and Open APIs
  • English B2

Nice to have

  • Agile methodologies
  • Confluence
  • REST API
  • OpenAPI
  • Experience with cloud-based software delivery
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. OpenAI API) to support product work, including prompting and applying AI assistants in daily delivery

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
