About the client and the project

Retail group's digital and technology company operating across multiple markets. The role sits within teams responsible for logistics, supply chain, and in-store delivery systems for a retail technology organization, focused on building and evolving distributed, cloud-based applications.

What you will do

Lead the technical direction and architecture of application solutions within the team.
Influence product decisions through close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Design and implement microservices-based, event-driven, and domain-driven architectures.
Ensure high availability, resilience, and monitoring of cloud-based solutions on Azure and GCP.
Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical excellence across the team.
Drive adoption of agile methodologies and best practices within distributed environments.
Evaluate and analyze complex technical challenges to inform architectural decisions.
