Mid Backend Developer (.NET, Azure)

About the client and the project

Technology company delivering connectivity, digital and AI solutions across ports, energy and industrial sectors. A greenfield platform supporting internal business workflows in the maritime and on-demand manufacturing space, built from the ground up with modern backend and cloud technologies.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services for a greenfield internal platform.
  • Develop scalable APIs using C# / .NET 8+ and ASP.NET Core.
  • Design relational database schemas using PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core.
  • Integrate with external systems and APIs, including CRM, ERP, and identity providers.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization flows, including RBAC.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment workflows in Azure.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Must-have skills

  • C# / .NET 8+
  • ASP.NET Core (Web APIs and middleware)
  • Entity Framework Core and ORM patterns
  • PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
  • React or similar major frontend framework
  • TypeScript
  • Modern UI frameworks / component libraries (e.g. Tailwind CSS)
  • REST API integration, webhooks, and external services
  • OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
  • Identity providers such as Keycloak and Microsoft Entra ID
  • English C1

Nice to have

  • Experience with workflow orchestration engines (e.g. Camunda 7 / CIBseven)
  • Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 notation
  • Experience integrating with CRM and ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with Azure Database for PostgreSQL
  • Experience in early-stage / greenfield product environments
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems
