About the role
Payments and financial technology company operating across Portugal. A greenfield initiative to design and build a new digital payments solution from the ground up, supporting product and project leadership as well as architecture teams. This is a rare opportunity to join a project at its very early stages.
What you will do
- Gather, analyze and document business and regulatory requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear specifications for technical teams
- Support the definition of business rules, SLAs/SLOs, exception scenarios and incident and reporting processes
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, including use cases, flows and high-level data models
- Define and validate acceptance criteria and support the creation of test cases for certification and business validation
- Facilitate ongoing communication between business and technical teams to clarify requirements and manage expectations
Location and work model
- Hybrid (3 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
What are we looking for?
- Business Analysis experience, ideally in payments or mission-critical financial systems
- Proven ability to write clear functional specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- English B2
- Portuguese
Nice to have
- Knowledge of blockchain or digital wallet solutions
- Understanding of data and integration concepts (APIs, messaging, files)
- Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
