IT Support Analyst (Windows)
About the client and the project
International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The role sits within an IT support team centralizing workplace operations, hardware lifecycle management, and end-user technical resolution, ensuring corporate IT services meet business performance and availability needs across two office locations.
What you will do
- Diagnose and resolve complex L1/L2 hardware, software, OS, and network issues reported by users.
- Analyze root causes and recurring incidents to minimize business impact and maintain SLA metrics.
- Manage the full hardware/software lifecycle for enterprise endpoints (Windows/macOS) and peripherals.
- Provide dedicated support for physical meeting spaces, including Cisco and Microsoft Teams room setups.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and automate repetitive support tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.
- Oversee workstation provisioning, equipment inventory auditing, and secure decommissioning in line with data protection standards.
- Guide and support junior support engineers, promoting knowledge documentation and structured troubleshooting.
Must-have skills
- IT User Support, Service Desk, or Workplace Infrastructure experience — 4+ years
- Windows OS environments — advanced proficiency
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365
- SCCM — good working knowledge
- MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions — practical experience
- PowerShell or similar scripting tools
- Networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and PC hardware diagnostics
- Meeting room collaboration technology (Cisco and Microsoft Teams rooms)
- ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- English B2
Nice to have
- macOS configuration and troubleshooting
- French language skills

- Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
