FullStack Developer (Java, Angular)

About the role

International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The team works on a compliance-related referential application used to support regulatory processes within a large financial organization. The role involves ongoing development, maintenance, and quality improvement of this platform.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and implement front-end and back-end components of a compliance-related referential application.
  • Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and performance.
  • Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews, addressing technical debt as needed.
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, sharing best practices among teams.
  • Handle maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing project needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize disruption to the application.
  • Stay current with web development trends and technologies to continuously improve the application.

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Porto / Lisboa)
