About the role
The team is deploying vertical AI applications directly into Finance business functions, translating ambiguous business problems into working AI solutions built on top of an existing enterprise AI platform. The focus is on rapid prototyping, deployment inside a regulated environment, and measurable business adoption rather than research or infrastructure work.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions for specific Finance business problems, from problem definition to measurable outcome.
- Translate ambiguous, evolving business requirements into working software directly with the business stakeholder who owns the problem.
- Build vertical AI applications rapidly on top of an existing AI platform, leveraging cloud data platform AI capabilities, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Prototype quickly, delivering a functional UI or lightweight app to business users within the first weeks of engagement, then iterate on feedback.
- Deploy solutions inside a regulated environment, respecting governance, access control, data residency, audit, and compliance constraints.
- Instrument every deployed solution with usage metrics, adoption tracking, and business outcome telemetry.
- Work directly with Finance business stakeholders, translating their language into technical solutions and back, and build reusable patterns for future use.
Location and work model
What are we looking for?
- Full-stack AI application development — building working end-to-end systems with UI, backend, and AI/LLM integration
- Python + FastAPI/Flask for backend services, Streamlit / Databricks Apps / lightweight React for front-end
- Hands-on experience with a cloud data platform's AI/LLM tooling (e.g. Snowflake Cortex or Databricks Genie)
- RAG pipeline construction — chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval evaluation, grounding, citation
- LLM application frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex, with production usage
- Prompt engineering with evaluation discipline
- Cloud data platform fluency (Snowflake and/or Databricks) plus at least one cloud provider
- SQL and data modeling
- Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows
- API design and integration with enterprise systems via REST APIs
- English B2
Nice to have
- Pharma, life sciences, or CPG Finance domain experience
- Familiarity with enterprise Finance tooling (CRM, ERP, financial planning systems)
- Experience delivering in regulated environments (SOX, GxP, data residency, audit trails)
- Relevant cloud or data platform certifications
- Prior Forward Deployment Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Field Engineer experience
- Startup or small-team experience shipping end-to-end without organizational scaffolding
