Junior Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto)

About the role

International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. Team responsible for the operational maintenance of network security infrastructures, focused on ensuring quality, productivity, and service continuity in a production IT environment.

What you will do

Ensure the operational maintenance of security infrastructures, focusing on quality, productivity, and security.
Conduct diagnostics to identify causes of malfunctions and flow blockages.
Implement and maintain security policies on firewall and network security equipment.
Propose and help define best practices for managing security policies.
Provide guidance and support on network security topics, including advice, training, and alerts.
Collaborate with experts from other domains and verify compliance with IT security and quality standards.
Ensure service quality aligns with defined SLAs within your area of responsibility.

Location and work model

Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
