DevOps / SRE (AWS)

About the client and the project

Retail company with a technology hub in Portugal. The role sits within a cloud infrastructure and platform reliability function, responsible for designing, operating and evolving business-critical environments on AWS and hybrid setups.

What you will do

Operate and evolve cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, security and cost efficiency.
Design and implement automation (Terraform, scripts, pipelines) to reduce manual work, errors and delivery time.
Act as a reference point for infrastructure incidents, supporting troubleshooting of access and connectivity issues (IAM, VPN, RDP, AD, VPC, security groups, routing).
Create and maintain VMs and workloads across cloud providers, aligned with architecture, security and compliance standards.
Contribute actively to CI/CD pipelines, from pipeline design to post-deployment observability.
Implement and operate monitoring solutions with Prometheus/Grafana, ensuring effective alerting and platform health visibility.
Participate in incident management, post-mortems and reliability initiatives, promoting continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.

Location and work model

Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa / Porto)
