About the client and the project

Global IT consulting and technology services company with a delivery hub in Porto, Portugal. The team works on cloud-based data analytics solutions supporting corporate IT applications, covering data integration, modelling, and reporting for business stakeholders.

What you will do

Design, implement, and roll out cloud-based data analytics solutions for corporate IT applications.
Collaborate with business and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Build and maintain data integration and ETL pipelines.
Model data in Data Lake and Cloud Data Warehouse environments handling large datasets.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools.
Support, maintain, and continuously improve existing data applications.

Must-have skills

Data Engineer experience in cloud environments — 5+ years
Python
PySpark
Microsoft Azure
Data modelling in Data Lake / Cloud Data Warehouse environments
SQL
Understanding of ERP processes, specifically Logistics and SCM
English B2

Nice to have

Java
Power BI
Full-stack development experience
Machine learning and AI knowledge
SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar enterprise analytics platforms

Location and work model

Hybrid (1 day/week in the office, Porto)
