Perfil: Data Engineer – Administração do Confluent Kafka
Resumo da função
Responsável pela administração, configuração, monitorização e otimização da plataforma Confluent Kafka, garantindo elevada disponibilidade, desempenho, segurança e escalabilidade dos pipelines de dados em tempo real. Actua em conjunto com equipas de desenvolvimento, arquitetura, DevOps e operações para suportar soluções baseadas em eventos.
Responsabilidades
- Administrar clusters Confluent Kafka em ambientes de desenvolvimento, testes e produção.
- Instalar, configurar e atualizar componentes da plataforma Confluent.
- Gerir brokers, topics, partitions e replication factors.
- Implementar Schema Registry e gerir a evolução de schemas (Avro, Protobuf e JSON Schema).
- Configurar ACLs, autenticação (SASL, OAuth, LDAP) e encriptação SSL/TLS.
- Otimizar desempenho, throughput e latência.
- Executar capacity planning e dimensionamento de clusters.
- Automatizar tarefas através de Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible ou Helm).
- Implementar estratégias de Disaster Recovery e Multi-Cluster.
- Configurar Replicator ou Cluster Linking.
- Apoiar equipas de desenvolvimento na criação de aplicações produtoras e consumidoras.
- Definir boas práticas para Event Streaming.
- Diagnosticar incidentes e resolver problemas de performance.
Experiência Recomendada
- 3 a 5 anos em engenharia de dados ou administração de plataformas Kafka.
- Experiência em ambientes distribuídos de missão crítica.
- Experiência com CI/CD.
- Experiência em ambientes Cloud.
- Experiência com Kubernetes.
- Experiência em monitorização e observabilidade.
