Project Manager (Consulting & Implementation)

About the client and the project

Payments and financial technology company operating across Portugal. The role sits within a team responsible for the technical implementation and integration of payment services for external clients, ensuring solutions are delivered according to agreed requirements and business objectives.

What you will do

Act as the main point of contact between the client and the delivery team during technical implementation.
Analyse functional and technical documentation to support integration and testing activities.
Monitor client testing, identify errors or issues, and support their resolution.
Manage project delivery, ensuring alignment with agreed requirements and business goals.
Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and providing solutions.
Identify risks and conflicts, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively communicate challenges.

Must-have skills

Knowledge of programming languages (Python, PHP, JavaScript, .NET)
Experience with Web Services and REST API
Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall)
Strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
English B2
Portuguese

Nice to have

Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce)
Experience in the financial, payments, or digital solutions industry
Experience in technical implementation, systems analysis, or client integration for financial applications
Knowledge of payment systems from a technology perspective
Familiarity with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Spanish, spoken and written

Location and work model

Hybrid (3 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
