About the client and the project

Global professional services firm with a technology and engineering hub in Portugal. The project involves a long-lived, mixed Qt desktop product built with CMake, Conan and MSVC, including several legacy components. The focus of the work is on improving IT security and stability of the product.

What you will do

Develop and maintain C++ components for a desktop application, prioritizing IT security and stability.
Analyze existing code against security requirements and identify vulnerabilities.
Design and implement fixes for identified security issues.
Collaborate with architecture, QA and product management teams to deliver secure, maintainable, high-quality solutions.
Use AI coding agents in daily work to speed up code analysis and issue resolution.
Contribute to the team's shared agents, skills and prompt templates for AI-assisted development.
