Business Analyst (Banking)

About the client and the project

Global professional services company with a technology delivery hub in Portugal. A finance and reporting transformation project focused on functional solutions for financial interfaces that feed core reporting streams such as financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity and credit risk.

What you will do

  • Handle functional solutions for financial interfaces feeding core reporting streams (financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity and credit risk).
  • Perform functional specifications and support project implementation.
  • Define operational and accounting schemes and control frameworks based on business needs identified in early project studies.
  • Define data flow structures with the information needed to feed finance systems.
  • Document functional and technical specifications for solutions to be built by other teams (systems, engineering, parametrization).
  • Coordinate tasks and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to testing strategy and carry out accounting and reporting test phases, and provide aftercare support to reporting users.
