Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement complex ETL/ELT solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouses and data lakes.
Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries for data analysis, manipulation, and validation.
Utilize and master major ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), Talend, Stambia to build and maintain data flows.
Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of data flows, implementing quality controls and error detection mechanisms.
Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, and other technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
Participate in data modeling and database schema design.
Automate data loading and processing processes.
Document data architectures, ETL flows, and technical specifications.
Ensure data security and compliance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Data Engineering.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong track record in designing and developing ETL solutions.
In-depth mastery of SQL for querying, manipulating, and optimizing relational databases.
Significant experience with at least one of the following ETL tools: Informatica PowerCenter, ODI, Talend, Stambia.
Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and/or NoSQL databases.
Understanding of data modeling principles (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
