BI Developer/Analyst

About the role

Technology company providing software and IT services to the healthcare sector in Portugal. The project involves a business intelligence platform supporting data-driven decision making, with an initial engagement through the end of the year and potential continuation into the following year.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to business needs.
  • Define and build custom KPIs and metrics using DAX.
  • Design and optimize data models for performance and scalability.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against relational databases.
  • Support data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable metrics and reports.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather reporting needs.

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Business Intelligence / Data Analysis experience — 3+ years
  • Power BI — dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, performance optimization
  • SQL and relational databases
  • Data Warehousing concepts
  • ETL/ELT and data integration/transformation concepts
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • English B2
  • Portuguese

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud environments and modern data platforms
  • Power BI certification
  • Advanced English and Spanish
