Senior DevOps Technical Lead (AWS)

About the client and the project

Global professional services company with a technology delivery hub in Portugal. The role sits within an international and collaborative environment focused on developing, modernising and operating business-critical digital solutions, including the modernisation of legacy systems and adoption of cloud-native architectures.

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a DevOps team, providing technical direction and promoting engineering best practices.
  • Act as a key technical representative in architecture and technology leadership discussions, working closely with stakeholders, architects and engineering teams.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, technology standards and technical roadmaps.
  • Design, deploy and maintain scalable and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and evolve Infrastructure as Code solutions using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
  • Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Drive automation across build, testing, deployment, release and operational processes, and improve monitoring, logging and observability.
