Client & ProjectWe are looking for an experienced DevOps Technical Lead to join an international and collaborative environment, taking a key role in the development, modernisation and operation of business-critical digital solutions.The role combines hands-on DevOps expertise, technical leadership and architectural ownership, with a strong focus on AWS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, cloud modernisation and system reliability.You will lead a DevOps team, work closely with development and architecture teams, and act as a key technical counterpart for customer stakeholders. You will also participate in architecture and technology leadership boards, contributing to strategic technical decisions, defining standards and helping shape the future evolution of the platform.A key part of the role will be to identify and propose improvements, challenge existing approaches and help take the engineering and DevOps practices to the next level, including the adoption of AI-enabled solutions and automation across the software delivery lifecycle.Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the DevOps team, providing technical direction, supporting team development and promoting engineering best practices;- Act as a key technical representative in architecture and technology leadership boards, working closely with customer stakeholders, architects and engineering teams;- Contribute to architectural decisions, technology standards and technical roadmaps;- Design, deploy and maintain scalable and reliable AWS cloud infrastructure;- Implement and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK;- Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline;- Drive automation across build, testing, deployment, release and operational processes;- Support and improve event-driven architectures, integrations and distributed systems;- Ensure the availability, scalability, performance, security and reliability of applications and cloud environments;- Drive the modernisation of legacy systems and the adoption of modern cloud-native architectures and engineering practices;- Improve monitoring, logging, observability and incident management capabilities;- Proactively identify technical improvements and optimisation opportunities, transforming them into actionable initiatives;- Explore and introduce AI-driven capabilities and intelligent automation to improve engineering productivity, operations, observability, troubleshooting and software delivery;- Promote DevOps, Cloud, Security and Infrastructure as Code best practices across teams;- Work closely with development, infrastructure, architecture and business stakeholders in an international and multicultural environment;- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, automation, innovation and technical excellence.
