Senior AI Engineer (Machine Learning, LLM)
About the client and the project
Automotive software company built as a joint venture, with engineering hubs in Porto and Lisbon. The team builds and operates end-to-end AI pipelines and platforms, taking solutions from architecture through to production-grade deployment. Work spans applied machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI use cases integrated into large-scale technology platforms.
What you will do
- Architect, build and optimise end-to-end AI pipelines, turning complex requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Develop, fine-tune and operationalise machine learning and deep learning models, ensuring high performance and seamless integration into existing platforms.
- Implement CI/CD workflows for AI and ML, automate training pipelines, and ensure reliable monitoring, reporting, governance and lifecycle management of AI systems.
- Continuously evaluate, benchmark and optimise AI models and services for efficiency, accuracy and real-time performance in large-scale environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data experts and product stakeholders, to engineer AI-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
