Robotics software company developing platforms for autonomous mobile robots. The team builds the frontend for a robotics software platform that lets fleets of autonomous mobile robots navigate and operate in complex real-world environments, from airports to large warehouses. The role focuses on translating architectural concepts into production-ready React applications for complex operational workflows.

What you will do

  • Develop modern React applications following architectural guidelines
  • Build complex workflows for fleet management, deployment, monitoring and intralogistics
  • Develop reusable UI components and contribute to a shared design system
  • Improve software quality through automated testing, code reviews and refactoring
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
  • Optimise frontend performance and usability
  • Mentor junior developers and lead by example through hands-on coding

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (3 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
  • 8+ years of advanced expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Technical Lead.
  • Proficiency in Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, adaptive UI development, and component-driven development.
  • Deep experience handling real-time, high-frequency WebSockets, as well as REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Proven ability to optimize browser rendering and UI performance, processing fast-streaming data without blocking the UI thread.
  • Experience building operational monitoring interfaces, analytics views, KPI visualizations, and data-dense dashboards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core software engineering practices, including clean code, maintainability, refactoring, secure coding, performance optimization, error handling, and observability.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (e.g. Jest/Vitest, Cypress or Playwright).
  • Proficiency with modern development tools, including Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, modern build tools, package managers, and dependency management.
  • Experience working with Docker and containerized development environments within Agile product teams.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with robotics, industrial software, logistics, warehouse automation, manufacturing or IoT platforms.
  • Design systems, component libraries, Storybook.
  • Accessibility (WCAG) and Figma collaboration.
  • React Query, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, TanStack.
  • Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, Testing Library.
  • Cloud-native applications and Kubernetes.
