Retail group's digital and technology company operating across multiple markets. The role sits within an e-commerce technology domain, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital commerce products for a health and beauty retail business. The team covers both product and project workstreams, combining architecture, engineering and operations.

What you will do

  • Act as the technical reference for the e-commerce domain, accountable for end-to-end delivery, quality, release and operation.
  • Coordinate Tech Leads and engineers, supporting architecture decisions and resolving technical conflicts across teams.
  • Shape and lead the domain's technical strategy in close alignment with business and product stakeholders.
  • Manage the technical roadmap in collaboration with product and business teams, translating business goals into achievable technical plans.
  • Identify and manage implementation risks proactively, addressing architecture, dependencies and capacity concerns before they materialize.
  • Balance hands-on technical execution with people and process management.
  • Standardize shared tools and practices across teams, codifying architecture guidelines and promoting AI-assisted development and DevOps adoption.

Location and work model

  • Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Porto)
  • Previous experience in technical leadership of multiple engineering teams (senior Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or equivalent role)
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA) — architecture, customization and operation in e-commerce context
  • React.js in headless e-commerce architecture
  • Proven ability to balance technical depth with people management
  • Experience unblocking cross-team delivery issues and managing technical priority conflicts
  • Comfortable defining and communicating medium-term technical strategy with business/product stakeholders
  • Experience identifying, communicating and managing implementation risk throughout the delivery cycle
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, or strong aptitude to adopt them quickly
  • English B2
  • Portuguese

Nice to have

  • Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce OMS and/or Data 360
  • Prior experience in retail/e-commerce, particularly health and beauty
  • Experience with API gateway integrations (e.g., Gravitee, Solace)
