What you will do
- Write clean, maintainable code that sets the standard for other engineers on the team.
- Deliver high-quality, working software regularly as part of a development team.
- Provide insightful, thorough code reviews with attention to architectural impact.
- Ensure documentation exists for critical systems and author technical guides for other engineers.
- Help define reliability standards so teams can monitor applications and respond to incidents effectively.
- Diagnose root causes of complex bugs and deliver fixes with automated regression tests.
- Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers, sharing knowledge through demos and presentations.
Location and work model
- Hybrid (2 days/week in the office, Lisboa)
- .NET Core — 10+ years
- C# — 10+ years
- Microservices architecture — expert level
- Event-driven architecture / messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) — 2+ years
- NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, or similar)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Agile environment experience
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience — 3+ years
- English B2
Nice to have
- Experience with Kafka specifically
- Experience with Elasticsearch specifically
- Site Reliability Engineering practices
- Experience with additional messaging/streaming tools (e.g. Pulsar)
