What is this challenge about:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Design and contribute to the implementation of scalable, robust system architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and scalability challenges, proposing proactive solutions.
  • Support the adoption of modern development practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.

What we are looking for:

  • +8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with React and Next.js.
  • Strong understanding of scalable system architecture and microservices.
  • Solid knowledge of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Proven experience mentoring and coaching engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Living in Portugal (Remote role)
  • Fluent level of English.
