What is this challenge about:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex, high-performance solutions within the .NET ecosystem.
  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems.
  • Design, develop, and manage robust data integration processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Optimize, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Define and promote software architecture standards, development best practices, and technical guidelines.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies across applications and databases.
  • Support system enhancements, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Contribute to technical decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in .NET development.
  • Extensive expertise in the .NET ecosystem and backend application development.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server database administration, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data integration solutions.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise-grade systems.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex application and database-related issues.
  • Ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Living in Portugal (Remote role)
  • Fluent level of English and Portuguese
