Payments and financial technology company operating across Portugal. The team builds and evolves microservices and APIs supporting critical financial and payments systems, with a strong focus on cloud-native design, resilience, performance and observability.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain microservices, APIs and business logic in Java with Spring Boot, following cloud-native and cloud-agnostic best practices.
- Write unit, integration and contract tests, and support the QA team in test automation.
- Participate in technical solution design together with architects, aligned with the defined architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, QA, SRE, security, business) in refinements, planning sessions and code reviews.
- Ensure code is secure and observable, including logging, tracing and metrics.
- Contribute to technical documentation covering services, APIs and key technical decisions.
- Analyze and resolve incidents in development and QA/certification environments, acting as third-line support when needed.
