What is this challenge about:
- Define and own the overall Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) B2B architecture, including storefront, integrations, data flows, and security models.
- Translate business and B2B commerce requirements into scalable and sustainable SFCC technical solutions.
- Lead the solution design for complex B2B commerce functionalities such as account hierarchies, contract pricing, approval workflows, customer-specific catalogs, bulk ordering, and reordering flows.
- Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems including ERP (SAP), CRM, PIM, CDB, DAM, and other external platforms.
- Establish development standards, governance models, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for SFCC projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams across onshore and offshore environments.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, scalability, and performance optimization guidelines.
- Support cutover, go-live activities, post-launch stabilization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, including solution diagrams and integration blueprints
What we are looking for:
- +10 years of professional experience in software engineering and solution architecture roles.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), particularly B2B Commerce and SFRA.
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise, including Salesforce B2B Commerce,Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Deep understanding of: OCAPI and SCAP, integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, middleware-based architectures) and authentication and security concepts (OAuth, SSO, roles, permissions)
- Strong experience with JavaScript, CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Experience transforming legacy eCommerce platforms into Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions.
- Experience working in global, multi-brand, and multi-country commerce environments.
- Familiarity with automotive industry business models (dealer networks, spare parts, tiered pricing, long product lifecycles) is highly valued.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce B2B Commerce Administrator certification
- Living in Portugal (remote role)
- Fluent level of English.
