KWAN is hiring a Junior PL/SQL Dveloper to work in Lisbon (Hybrid) who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

· Replace client engineers as they transition to Google Cloud and MicroStrategy;

· Work on large SQL Server environments with billions of records across multiple databases;

· Develop and maintain complex and regulatory reporting;

· Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for performance;

· Create and manage stored procedures, SQL Server jobs, and CTEs;

· Collaborate with client engineers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and complete tickets;

· Proactively seek information and drive tasks to completion;

· Work independently in a non-agile, low-collaboration environment.

What we are looking for · Strong SQL skills with 2+ years of practical experience;

· Experience with stored procedures, SQL Server jobs, and CTEs;

· Experience writing performant SQL, including the use of indexes;

· Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);

· Experience with Visual Studio (nice to have);

· Comfortable communicating with colleagues, client engineers, and business stakeholders;

· Proactive and able to seek clarification when needed;

· Comfortable working in non-agile environments without regular ceremonies or meetings;

· Comfortable working remotely with collaboration primarily via Teams;

· Fluency in English (minimum B2).
