What is this challenge about

Own and evolve the technical architecture of the platform's backend and application layers;
Define architectural principles, engineering standards, service boundaries, APIs, events, and data responsibilities;
Design and review scalable, reliable, high-performance distributed systems;
Guide decisions on concurrency, asynchronous processing, networking, retries, recovery, and fault handling;
Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, including frontend engineering through team leaders;
Define technical strategy and priorities together with product management;
Manage technical risks, architectural dependencies, and cross-team integration points, balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution.

What we are looking for

10+ years of experience in software engineering;
Strong professional experience with Rust;
Strong professional experience with Python;
Solid experience in backend engineering and software architecture;
Proven experience designing and building scalable, reliable, high-performance distributed systems;
Experience with APIs, service integration, and asynchronous processing;
Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and developing engineering teams;
Ability to define technical standards, architecture, and engineering strategy in collaboration with Product Management;
Strong understanding of system reliability, fault handling, recovery, and scalability;
English B2 or above.
